Edge Server Tools

The Tools section bundles five diagnostic utilities that run directly on the Edge Server. They share a deliberate design rule: everything here is ad-hoc. The production pipeline (clients, variables, transforms, triggers) is untouched, so you can probe a device, inspect a topic, or stream raw logs without worrying about polluting historical data or interfering with cloud-side configuration.

• MQTT Explorer — browse the embedded Sparkplug B broker live and issue NCMD/DCMD commands.
• Ping & TCP — ICMP ping and TCP connectivity tests run from the Edge Server.
• Modbus — ad-hoc Modbus TCP poller for verifying register maps.
• BACnet — Who-Is discovery and property inspection for BACnet/IP and MSTP devices.
• Live Logs — tail structured logs live and raise service log levels at runtime.
